By The Rivers are a 6 piece band writing Alternative/Pop/Reggae music. Formed in the Spring of 2010 by Leicester lads Nile Barrow (22) and Jordan Birtles (19). Inspired by all genres of music, this outfit of talented youngsters write and perform catchy songs in a reggae style, a genre they have an obvious passion for. They write songs concerning both social and political issues with a positive message.
Ranging in age from 19 to 24, this band have already caused a stir in the underground music scene across the UK. By The Rivers did a 15 date UK Arena tour supporting The Specials in October of 2011, as well as supporting the likes of Fun Lovin’ Criminals, John Holt, Maxi Priest plus many more.
